Encourage Youth to Apply: Full-Tuition Scholarships to
Marquette University
Marquette University is
partnering with BGCA for a fifth year to offer full-tuition
scholarships for up to three Club members or alumni through its
Urban Scholars Program. Members who have participated in the
Youth of the Year program at any level are especially encouraged
to apply. Marquette’s admission application deadline was Dec. 1,
but there's still time to
apply for
the scholarship.
Kids Give Back Contest Winners
Boys & Girls
Clubs of America is so proud of our local Club kids who gave
back over 1.3 million hours of community service this year. Boys
& Girls Clubs of Hawaii won $2,000 and Salvation Army Boys &
Girls Club of Richmond (Va.) won $500 courtesy of RetailMeNot!
