Encourage Youth to Apply: Full-Tuition Scholarships to Marquette University
Marquette University is partnering with BGCA for a fifth year to offer full-tuition scholarships for up to three Club members or alumni through its Urban Scholars Program. Members who have participated in the Youth of the Year program at any level are especially encouraged to apply. Marquette’s admission application deadline was Dec. 1, but there's still time to apply for the scholarship.

Kids Give Back Contest Winners
Boys & Girls Clubs of America is so proud of our local Club kids who gave back over 1.3 million hours of community service this year. Boys & Girls Clubs of Hawaii won $2,000 and Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Richmond (Va.) won $500 courtesy of RetailMeNot! Thank you to every Club that entered!

Deadline To Submit Your Individual Giving Societies Members – Jan 8
Register society members by the deadline to ensure they are included in the annual recognition book and receive the proper acknowledgement and recognition. Register your 2013 Jeremiah Milbank Society members here. Register your Lifetime Giving Society members by completing the Lifetime Giving Society enrollment form and submit to your Director, Planned & Major Gifts. Register your Heritage Club members by completing the Heritage Club enrollment form and submit to your Director, Planned & Major Gifts.

You can update your bgca.net member profile position to “Resource Development Staff.” Doing so will allow for improved/targeted resource development communication. On the bgca.net home page, select the My Profile tab to make changes.
